As many of you know Nate and I got a puppy last November. She is a really smart dog and has been pretty easy to train when it comes to commands; however, we can't seem to get her potty trained!!! When she goes potty in the house she knows that she did something wrong because she'll run into her crate and put herself in timeout...she just can't seem to figure out how to tell us that she has to go out. Sometimes we will take her out for a walk and she'll come back in the house and 10 minutes later she'll go potty in the house. We just dont know what else to do...we've tried every idea we can think of. Does anyone have any ideas??? We're getting pretty desperate!
Something that works for us with Graham is to put newspaper out and place him on it. There are some potty mats that have pheremones in them to attract the puppies to pee, they also have a fresh grass scent.
