The most amazing Valentine's day...

In the past my Valentine's days have been pretty much a disaster...this year was the first Valentines day Nate and I would celebrate as a married couple and due to my unfortunate past history with Valentines days I wasnt really sure if I should be excited or prepare myself for a disaster...well in true Nathan form he made our first Valentines day as a married couple the most AMAZING Valentines day I have ever had!

I had no idea what we were doing but Nate was excited so I was excited. We drove to Newport Harbor, got out and started walking along the water...I was still clueless as to what was going on. We walked up to this little hut that said Newport Rentals and to my suprise Nate and rented a boat for us to take a romantic cruise around Newport Harbor and Balboa. We got on the boat and when we were in the middle of the harbor Nate pulled out a little vase of red roses and a heart shaped cheesecake with strawberries (cheesecake is my favorite dessert ever!) IT WAS SOOO ROMANTIC! We started out on our boat ride right as the sun began to set...we cruised around the harbor and around Balboa for an hour an a half...just talking and laughing, enjoying the sights and sharing the delicious cheesecake! I couldnt have planned a better night. It meant so much to me that Nate took the time to plan this for me, he really put a lot of thought into it and it was the most perfect Valentines day ever!

After our boat ride we went to Yard House and had some yummy food and of course laughed some more.

I still can't believe how amazing, romantic, and perfect the night was...Nate and I have so much fun together, he's my best friend and I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect husband for me. I am so blessed to have him as my husband!
